The Microsoft Xbox cloud streaming device and an app are on their way.

The company has apparently partnered with Samsung for the Xbox streaming app.

Fortnite has landed on iOS thanks to Xbox cloud gaming.

Microsoft reportedly taking steps to expand its cloud gaming efforts by launching a streaming device, by the summer of 2023. This could be specifically meant to stream games, along with other services, directly to the users’ TVs.  

Microsoft’s cloud-gaming streaming device could be similar to an Amazon Fire TV Stick or a smaller version, like Roku’s puck. The device will allow the streaming of movies and TV services in addition to a library of games through the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The library of playable titles without dedicated hardware will be the key selling point of the upcoming device.
